Inukshuk overlooking Iqaluit and Frobisher Bay
Sep 9, 2006
From Sylvia Grinell Park one can see down across to Iqaluit, and out to Frobisher Bay. This was a key objective on our first day in Iqaluit, to find an Inukshuk overlooking Frobisher Bay and also Iqaluit. We searched high and low, and eventually stumbled upon this site when we took a break for lunch!
\r\n\r\nThese images are part of a set taken in September of 2006, when I had the opportunity to travel through Nunavut.
\r\n\r\nThe voyage was with <a href=“http://www.adventurecanada.com/\” target=“_blank”>Adventure Canada, which operates expedition travel tours across the Arctic and around the globe. It has been a great experience to work with Adventure Canada, and I look forward to the possibility of returning to the Arctic with them in the future.
